Hutton Football Club are a highly regarded amateur grass roots football club based in Hutton, Essex, providing not only football coaching and matches but social events, international tournaments and individual development opportunities for its members. Hutton FC’s 60 teams include juniors from Under 7’s for both boys and girls up to adult men and women, a large percentage of our adult footballers having progressed through the youth ranks at the club. The club also provides pre-school age fun sessions in a safe indoor environment.
Formed in 1928 and merged with the thriving local youth football club, Hutton Medway, in 2005 Hutton FC has grown and developed beyond anyone’s expectations largely due to the dedication of the volunteer workforce managing the teams, coaching the players, developing better facilities and dealing with the mountains of administration. The club has over 600 playing members out in all weathers every weekend from September to July enjoying the beautiful game and along with their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and supporters all enjoy a real sense of community.
The club is most active in its local community and has in recent years been actively involved in helping develop 3G Astroturf pitches in the area, refurbishing old run down facilities to create a busy clubhouse and working closely with governing bodies and local authorities to develop future facilities for the use of our growing local population. The club has attained and maintains the highest level of accreditation awarded by the Football Association of Charter Standard Community Club and has been awarded The Charter Standard Community Club of the Year Award twice.
Yes we are first and foremost a football club but Hutton FC are also extremely active in promoting individual development with many of our coaches of the younger age groups being our young adult members from our older youth and adult teams who, supported by the club, are encouraged to take their FA coaching badges, some even having gone on to careers in coaching. In partnership with the FA the club has run Young Leaders courses for children between 12 and 16 years as the first steps in creating our future volunteers and our older team managers & coaches are all encouraged to progress their coaching skills beyond the Level 1 badge they all must have.
Although not a registered charity the club operates in a charitable way and is run entirely by volunteers on a member’s subscription basis. All monies received by the club are wholly invested back into the club for the benefit of its members.
Hutton FC is proud of their reputation within the football family, a reputation built, over many years, on the cornerstones of enjoyment, respect, fair play and social inclusion. The club has strict codes of conduct for Players, Managers and Spectators and insists these are adhered to at all times.
